Tablao La Verdad: An Unforgettable Night
Published on September 11, 2025, this chronicle recalls the performance held the «previous weekend», as stated in the original text. The show at Tablao La Verdad filled the venue and left a deep impression on the audience. Amid the warmth and anticipation that filled the room, the truth of flamenco revealed itself moment by moment.
The evening opened with sevillanas by maestro Benito García. His dancing brought elegance and strength together, as though he were painting in the air, and captivated the audience.
Students from BG Flamenco also took the stage. Their assured dancing shone with a brilliance worthy of a stage in Córdoba, Spain: a comparison expressing how their daily effort and passion had borne fruit.
Nobue Kurosu captivated the audience with a soleá danced with a mantón shawl. Her dancing combined strength and femininity, filling the room with resounding applause.
Benito García's soleá brought the evening to a breathtaking close. Surrendering body and soul completely to the compás, he led the audience into silence, then into deep emotion and thunderous applause.
Cantaor Daniel Rico's voice was powerful, profound and deeply moving. The guitar playing of Shunsuke (盛植俊介), rich and nuanced like a fine, well-aged wine, sustained the performance.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who filled the venue. Your warmth and energy made that evening a uniquely memorable success.

Poetic Version: A Night at the Tablao
«Truth Aflame»
In the dim light of the tablao, the breath of anticipation quietly kindles.
Then the sevillanas dance, and Beni's hands draw a hidden map in the air.
The students, poised and upright like a courtyard in Córdoba,
raised their bodies like pillars and gave the god of rhythm a dwelling.
Nobue Kurosu, with a mantón transformed into a storm,
stitched to the wooden floor a woman's soul that holds both tears and strength.
And when the master returned with a soleá,
the dancer was no longer a man, but a river surrendering to its current.
Giving everything over to time, he drew in the void
a truth that only silence celebrates.
Daniel Rico's voice was a deep wound and a comfort,
the guitar of Shunsuke (盛植俊介) grew richer like a fine wine of old,
and became an oak hand holding up the night.
The seats overflowed with a sea of burning gazes,
and light coloured even the last remaining crevice.
Stage and soul became one, and we turned truth into flame.
And then, in that announcement, the calendar called for a new mask.
For October 26, 2025, that announcement held a dream: when the Halloween moon met duende, we would set «truth» aflame once more.
