Talents That Brought the Work to Life
This performance became something special through focused rehearsals within the limited time available and the heartfelt commitment each performer brought to the work. Above all, an almost miraculous meeting with outstanding artists added even greater depth to the production.
The guitarist’s moving melodies, the singer’s soul-stirring voice, the pianist’s delicate yet passionate tones, and the percussionist’s powerful rhythms came together to fill the stage with vivid colour. The rich visual world created by the costumes, the narrative depth added by the contributed artworks, and the fleeting beauty captured through artistic photography and editing also breathed life into the work. The creation of the closing credits allowed the lingering emotion to spread throughout the auditorium.
Another distinctive feature of this performance was that each scene had its own theme and each performer had a named character. Everyone performed their role in the story with care, while the messages and artworks—the paintings—projected on the screen harmonised with the music to create a different world in each scene. In this way, the story unfolded alongside the dance, bringing the entire performance together as one larger work.
By bringing together all these wonderful talents, we were able to share with you a work filled with Maestro Beni’s creative vision.
