Beni’s 7th Masterclass: A 2023 Bulerías Recap
The introductory masterclass, offering students the chance to learn flamenco with Maestro Beni, took place last Saturday. Once again, many students joined us.

This session focused on the bulerías danced at a “Fin de Fiesta.” After practising the basic technique of palmas, we learned a simple bulerías choreography. Maestro Beni clearly explained each movement, and students who initially found it difficult to capture the feel of bulerías gradually became more comfortable dancing it.
To finish, we formed a circle, just as in a real Fin de Fiesta, and each student took a turn dancing. We encouraged one another with jaleo, bringing the lesson to a lively close.
Once again, Maestro Beni shared plenty of advice, making these 90 minutes very rewarding. At the time, we were already looking forward to the next lesson.
