Beni’s 12th Masterclass: Fandango and Natural Expression
A look back at Beni’s 12th introductory flamenco masterclass!
Beni’s introductory flamenco masterclass took place on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Thank you to all the students who joined us.
This time, we explored how to dance with natural expression and avoid mechanical movements through a fandango choreography. Working at a slow tempo, Beni offered detailed guidance on using the body, placing and shifting weight, and bringing flow to the arms. We hope students can bring what they learned into their own dancing and enjoy a more expressive flamenco.
Every place in this edition of Beni’s introductory masterclass was filled. At the time, the next session was announced for Sunday, April 13, 2025, and students were encouraged to book early. We looked forward to the next masterclass.
