10th Beginner Master Open Class: The Second Part of Sevillanas
The 10th Beginner Master Open Class Has Concluded!
The Beginner Master Open Class concluded successfully, giving participants an opportunity to learn the foundations of flamenco with Beni.
For this tenth edition, we continued working on sevillanas, following on from the previous class. Through the choreography of the second part, Beni taught correct body movement and other essential foundations. Some students had attended every edition, which inspired Beni to bring even more energy to his teaching.
Beni told the group: “You’ve come to learn with me, your Spanish teacher! I’d love you to imitate not only the choreography, but also the way I breathe and use facial expression.” His advice encouraged the students to change their expressions and bring more flamenco character to their dancing. One participant said: “It flew by! I wanted to keep dancing!”
