Paella and Tapas in Hibiya: BG Flamenco’s 2026 Announcement
In the announcement published on May 5, 2026, BG Flamenco Academy stated that it planned to perform flamenco at the Paella and Tapas Festival in Hibiya Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026. This text preserves that announcement; it is neither a current invitation nor confirmation that the performance took place.
At that event celebrating Spanish food culture, the academy intended to share the appeal of flamenco dance, music, and rhythm.

Two planned performance times were announced, in the Asia/Tokyo time zone:
① 11:30–12:30
② 16:30–17:30
The announced venue was Hibiya Park.
At the time, we invited visitors to enjoy the Spanish atmosphere, including paella and tapas, and to watch BG Flamenco Academy's planned flamenco stage performance.
BG Flamenco Academy is a flamenco academy based primarily in Akabane, Tokyo.
It offers classes suited to each person's level, from beginners to experienced learners.
Flamenco is about more than simply learning dance steps.
It is about feeling the music.
Expressing oneself through the body.
Bringing the emotions within oneself into the world through dance.
All of these are essential aspects of flamenco's appeal.
For that event, BG Flamenco Academy announced that it was preparing its participation to help a wide audience experience Spanish culture and the appeal of flamenco.
At the time, we invited people to drop by, whether they had never seen flamenco before, enjoyed Spanish culture, or were interested in dance.
The academy expressed the hope that, in the bright atmosphere of an outdoor event, visitors would feel flamenco's strength, vibrant beauty, and human warmth.
In that announcement, we looked forward to welcoming visitors.
